For the Arbetets Museum / the museum of Labour, documentary photography is of great importance. Starting in 2001 Arbetets museum has awarded both established and emerging photographers for excellence in documentary photography. Arbetets museum is coordinating the Swedish network for documentary photography. Kerstin Harris is curator of the museum as well as contact person for the network.

Extra information: The Swedish Network for documentary photography was initiated in 2004 and is made up of museums and other cultural institutions in Sweden with an interest in documentary practices. Arbetets Museum is one of them.
