Format is a bi-annual festival for international photography which takes place in several venues in Derby and the East Midlands Region. It features a large number of exhibitions and an additional program of workshops, conferences, tours, talks and portfolio reviews. Special is its alliance with Magnum Photos and BBC for films. The next edition will be in 2011 under the theme ‘Street Photography: Right Here, Right Now’. All events can be booked through QUAD Box office, the main festival location. You can participate as an artist by signing up to QUAD or Format newsletter which will publish guidelines for submission for every edition
