FotoFreo is a month long international photography festival held every two years in Fremantle, Western Australia. The festival is organised and managed by FotoFreo Inc. First Fotofreo was in 2002, approx 68000 visitors.
Around march/april every other year.

The festival also hosts evenings of audio visual projections, panel discussions, lectures, conversations between professionals, a series of forums and lectures, floor talks, book launches, screenings of films about photography and a number of workshops including 3 run by photographers of Magnum Photos. Most of the events that involve visiting photographers and speakers will occur during the first week of the month long festival period.

The FotoFreo Fringe Festival is a festival of independant photographic exhibitions taking place during FotoFreo, the City of Fremantle Festival of Photography. Celebrating innovation and diversity in photography, the Fringe Festival showcases exhibitions by emerging and established photographers from Australia and around the world.
