Sophot.com is a website dedicated to socio-environmental photography. It aims to link photographers and photography professionals as well as social and cultural organizations, schools and universities together, trying to create awareness for the social issues that photographers encounter.

On its website, Sophot lists exhibitions, publications and projects by photographers. It offers other galleries dedicated to documentary or journalistic photography a place to promote their program. Photographers can create an account with biographical and practical information, a list of their works addressing socio-environmental issues, their publications, and a selection of photos. Each photographer has the opportunity to list one or two projects for which he or she is seeking sponsorship/partnership.
Organisations looking to commission a photographer can post their call for submissions on this website too.

Sophot has its own archive and documentation centre, meeting facilities and a separate gallery space in Paris: Fait & Cause (Fight for a cause) gallery. Sophot was initiated by Pour Que l'Esprit Vive (Let the spirit live).
