ST. JOOST (MASTER)
The Master programme Photography at AKV|St.Joost
is the only one of its kind in the Netherlands where you can study documentary photography on a Masters level for two years. Students have an international outlook and international students are very welcome. Students are being coached by leading teachers and guest teachers from various nationalities.
The programme providesis a reflection on and debate about documentary photography.
You will learn how to position yourself on a conceptual level in the international professional field. You will meet key figures from the field and at the end of the course you will present your own project in a professional context. Links with other media such as the moving image, web projects and fine arts are explored in various ways.
The Master programme Photography maintains strong ties with the Dutch Photomuseum / Nederlands Fotomuseum Rotterdam

The academic year starts in September. The deadline for application is 1 June of the same year.
St. Joost also offers ba photography (full time and part time) programmes.
