Swedish Secretariat of Photographic Collections / Fotosekretariatet vid Nordiska Museet is situated at Nordiska Museum. It holds one of the most important cultural historical photographic collections in Sweden. Its principal aim is to strengthen the significance of photographic collections in archives, libraries and museums.
The Secretariat has an advisory role, organizes educational seminars and conferences, and makes research on photography known to a wider audience.

Curator and contact person of the secretariat is Kasja Hartig.

Extra information: The Swedish Network for documentary photography was initiated in 2004 and is made up of museums and other cultural institutions in Sweden with an interest in documentary practices. Fotosekretariat of Nordiska Museet is one of them.
