Petra Stavast - Biografie

Petra Stavast (Tiel, The Netherlands, 1977) lives and works in Amsterdam. Since she graduated from Academie St. Joost in 2002, majoring in Photography, she has been working on independently initiated continuing projects. Starting point of her work is her curiosity after people and places. Stavast uses photography as a medium to find answers. Her work is regularly on display in The Netherlands and abroad, and she published numerous books.
