WORKSHOP FOTOBOEKEN MAKEN

Rome in mei is heerlijk! Hier geeft de Nederlandse fotograaf Machiel Botman een workshop over fotoboeken en kan je je ook inschrijven bij de Japanse fotograaf Kawachi voor een fotoboek workshop.

Rinko Kawauchi, one of the most important Japanese photographers, will hold for the first time an intensive workshop

on the making of a photobook.

Goal of the workshop is to explore the process that leads to the making of a photobook, analyzing both the technical and creative aspects, and for each participant to produce a mock-up. All the mock-ups will be shown in September 2010 in an exhibition at Istituto Superiore di Fotografia. The best mock-up will be published by Postcart and printed thanks to the support of Tipolitografia Trullo.

*On 19 May, the workshop will start with a public lecture by Rinko Kawauchi, introduced by Machiel Botman, photographer, curator, and Japanese photography expert.
