Cultures France is the agency of the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture and Communications. It instigates international cultural exchanges, working in collaboration with French and foreign partners in the private and public sector. Cultures France has three goals:
- Presenting and promoting French creative arts
- Cooperation and dialogue with other cultures and bringing these cultures to France
- Using France’s network abroad for development of the expertise and initiatives of Cultures France

Nearly 5000 professionals, authors and artists are supported through these initiatives each year in over 160 countries.
