Fotoleggendo is known for its portfolio viewings, which stimulate and promote young Italian photographers worldwide. It also organises three awards, among which is the Premio Gianni Tabò and an exhibition program of work by mainly young photographers, curated by influential (Italian) photography experts. The festival also offers workshops, seminars and screenings.
