The Rijeka Photo Festival was organised for the first time in 2010 by the Rijeka Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, offering exhibitions, lectures and a workshop. Photography still has some ground to gain in Croatia, which is illustrated by the choice for the festival’s themes: it focuses mainly on the history of photography and photographic developments.
