The anika handelt Galerie focuses on artistic photography that documents reality. Owners Monika Obermeier and Agnes Reinthaler cooperate with a range of young promising to established artists, like Paul Kranzler and Magnum member Erich Lessing.

Besides presenting the work of represented artists at their gallery and art fairs, anika handelt Galerie aims to encourage both established photography collectors and newcomers. The gallery advises on building a collection but also organises events such as company presentations or competitions.
