The Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art ’s focus lies on contemporary Canadian art. Documentary photography is an essential part of that. Marie Fraser, the museum’s chief curator and director of the Artistic and Education Department was guest curator for the 10th edition of le Mois de la Photo à Montréal in 2007, which was all about narrative explorations. She also edited one of the first major studies to be published on narrative explorations in the realm of the image and new media. With that in mind, it could be a good idea to approach her with a project.
